The World Through Rose Tinted Glasses

I have been living in New York for over a month now! I am a bit more settled and will be able to get back to some serious blogging. I'm working a lot but am really enjoying this city, living in Brooklyn. Whilst doing some research for work this week I stumbled upon the above Comme Des Garçons collection from 2005. I've always loved pink but now I can't stop thinking about having loads of pink things for Summer. I'm not a girly girl in the slightest so the fact that the collection is menswear is perfect for me. I happened to stumble upon a vintage pair of John Lennon sunglasses much like the Topshop ones above except they are pink tinted Ray-bans. These have been getting a great deal of wear. I think this collection has become my Summer clothing inspiration. For hot days I'll just substitute the pants for shorts. I think everyone needs more pink in their lives.
I've never been into much color, but I've been really sick of wearing dark colors all the time. There's a pink windbreaker from APC I've been wanting :)
ReplyDeleteYes, a Comme leather jacket is on my One Day list. They're just everything you could want from a leather jacket. Classic.
ReplyDeleteI want to hear more about NY, it sounds exciting! Also, I love the Jil Sander exploded paisley. And the J W Anderson paisley from a couple of seasons ago. I generally want to swan around Bloomsbury in paisley and smoke effetely. x
You moved to NY!? Amazing! Take loads of happy snaps so we can vicariously live through you. X
